Description

Build and maintain the serving layer and backend APIs that connect machine learning insights to internal stakeholders.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain REST and GraphQL APIs to bridge data and consumers.
• Develop the backend application layer using Node.js or Express.
• Query and manage data using Cosmos DB and SQL.
• Create technical design documentation for new service capabilities.
• Collaborate to rebuild scalable infrastructure from the ground up.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Proficiency in building APIs using REST and GraphQL.
• Strong backend development with JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience with Node.js or Express.
• Hands-on work with Azure App Services and Azure Functions.
• Experience with NoSQL databases, specifically Cosmos DB.
• Experience with SQL.
• Version control using Git and GitLab.
