Description

You will design and build Azure Data Lake environments, manage cloud migration initiatives, and define technical standards for infrastructure and security.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build Azure Data Lake environments, scheduled transformations, and data governance frameworks.
• Execute cloud migration initiatives while managing impacts on infrastructure, networks, and security.
• Define technical standards by conducting POCs for new cloud technologies.
• Establish baselines for network access, internet-facing resource restrictions, and Azure resource provisioning.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for infrastructure and applications within Microsoft Azure.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience in Azure Cloud or Hybrid Cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with Azure IaaS services, Storage, Backup, File Storage, and Azure SQL.
• Proficiency in Azure Data Lake Storage, including folder/container management and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
• Experience with Cloud Networking and security concepts.
• Hands-on experience writing effective Terraform scripts.
• Experience working with ARM templates and Azure Resource Templates.
• Practical knowledge of Azure policies.
• Experience setting up enterprise-level account structures and security models in Azure.
• Proven track record of migrating applications to the cloud.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
