Description

You will manage and maintain the cloud infrastructure environment, enforcing security, patching, and backup coverage for SaaS virtual machines and PHE environments on Cloud VMware platforms.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Enforce security tools and patching on SaaS virtual machines and the PHE environment across Cloud VMware platforms.
• Validate and ensure comprehensive backup coverage for the PHE Cloud Infrastructure, focusing on HON SaaS assets.
• Process and deliver daily operational tasks, managing service requests and incidents to maintain service continuity.
• Participate in operations meetings to communicate challenges, surface risks, and facilitate collaborative resolution.
• Maintain compliance with defined SLAs and performance metrics, providing reporting for monthly milestones.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering.
• Mandatory expertise in vCloud Director.
• Strong working knowledge of VMware Guests, Templates, OVFs, vMotion, DRS, VMware ESX/vSphere, and vCenter support.
• Proficiency in installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Windows and Linux servers, including command-line administration.
• Hands-on experience with the VMware vRealize Suite (capacity planning, automation, operations).
• Demonstrated ability to handle VMware-related ITSM tickets via ServiceNow, adhering to SLA requirements.
• Experience in ITSM processes.
• Familiarity with VMware.
