Description

You will architect, deploy, and manage Azure Government Cloud (GovCloud) IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS solutions within a hybrid cloud environment. You will lead infrastructure migrations, specifically moving VMware workloads from on-premises to the cloud.

Responsibilities

• Architect and manage Azure Gov Cloud tenants and hybrid cloud architectures.
• Design and implement infrastructure solutions covering computing, networking, routing, and security.
• Own the implementation of Azure services including App Services, Azure Storage, and BCDR via Azure Backup and Site Recovery.
• Manage cloud networking through vNets, subnets, and ExpressRoute.
• Execute cost management strategies using resource tagging and taxonomy to support reporting and compliance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Government Cloud environments.
• Proficiency in Windows Server administration and Active Directory (Azure AD).
• Experience with Identity and Access Management, DNS, and SQL.
• Technical knowledge of Virtual Machines and Azure Storage (Blob, Files, Disks).
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, Web Services, XML, and JSON.
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, or 10 years of equivalent work experience.
