Description

Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and optimization of secure, cost-effective Azure architectures for new and existing systems.
• Drive end-to-end migration of 100+ enterprise applications to Azure using re-platforming, refactoring, and lift-and-shift strategies.
• Design and implement Kubernetes clusters (AKS, OpenShift) for microservices architectures.
• Automate deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Harness.
• Conduct architecture reviews and establish organizational best practices for cloud-native applications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience architecting and managing Azure-based cloud infrastructures.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent certification.
• Expertise in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automated provisioning.
• Proven experience managing production-level Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters.
• Proficiency with GitHub Actions, GitLab, Harness, and Helm.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, and Python.
• Deep knowledge of Azure networking, security, storage, and compute services.
• Demonstrated track record of migrating 100+ applications to the cloud.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS or GCP.
• Knowledge of Istio or other service mesh technologies.
• Experience with Docker Swarm or OpenShift.
