Description

You will manage and optimize Azure Cosmos DB environments and architectures.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement database architectures using Azure Cosmos DB APIs (SQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, Gremlin, or Table).
• Execute performance tuning and query optimization to ensure efficient data retrieval.
• Manage database security, compliance requirements, and best practices.
• Configure monitoring and alerting tools to maintain system health.
• Automate database tasks using Azure CLI, PowerShell, and ARM templates.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of professional experience in database administration or related roles.
• Deep understanding of Azure Cosmos DB concepts and architecture.
• Proficiency with Azure Cosmos DB APIs (SQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, Gremlin, or Table).
• Hands-on experience with Azure CLI and PowerShell.
• Experience with database design and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, specifically Azure.
• Experience with database security and compliance protocols.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and solve complex database issues.

• Any Graduate degree.
