You will lead data engineering teams to build and maintain scalable data platforms on Azure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain product and platform architectures aligned with enterprise strategy.
• Lead development of data engineering platforms and manage data migration for small to medium projects.
• Build and manage services using Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS platforms.
• Implement data engineering processes, modeling standards, and conduct data quality reviews.
• Resolve complex design issues and optimize metadata-driven pipelines.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of professional experience in data engineering or architecture.
• Expertise in Azure Databricks and Databricks Delta Lake.
• Deep knowledge of Azure Data Factory (ADF) and metadata-driven pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python and PySpark.
• Strong experience with MS SQL Server, SSMS, and SQL coding (queries, stored procedures, views, functions).
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Azure Key Vault, and Azure Functions.
• Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics, Synapse Studio, and ADLS.
• Background in SQL Server and SSIS package ETL implementation.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with SQL DB configuration and management.
• Knowledge of Azure integration with Active Directory and Azure connectivity.
