Description

You will design and implement data-centric solutions, owning the data architecture strategy and governance within a Data Lakehouse environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement data governance, catalogues, and self-service capabilities.
• Design data architecture strategies and recommend new systems and technologies.
• Collaborate with development teams to guide technical direction and implement solutions.
• Perform testing, including defining criteria, creating scripts, and documenting results.
• Provide ongoing application support, monitoring, troubleshooting, and handling queries.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in a data-intensive position.
• 5+ years architecting solutions in a DevOps-first culture.
• Strong working knowledge of Azure SQL Managed Instance, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, Databricks, Snowflake, Fabric, Data Factory, Azure AI Services, and OpenAI.
• Strong DevOps skillset: PowerShell, Terraform, Azure DevOps, Containers, Azure Key Vault, Entra, Private Endpoints.
• Strong understanding of relational database architecture concepts.
• Proficiency working with Windows platforms, including system administration knowledge.
• Proven track record delivering complex business projects on time.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Gen AI, AI/ML Ops, and mlflow.
