Description

Design and govern data architecture for Insurance domains using Azure and Snowflake to deliver scalable data products.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models for Insurance domains (Customer, Claims, Policy).
• Map data elements from Insurance workflows to Operational Data Stores and Data Warehousing solutions.
• Partner with business, data engineering, and platform teams to enable insights and deliver value.
• Optimize Azure-based data platforms and data products for performance, cost, and extensibility.
• Build and maintain data pipelines, reports, and dashboards using SQL and Python.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data architecture and engineering.
• Hands-on experience with MS Fabric, Snowflake, and Azure platform services.
• Strong knowledge of Data Lake and Data Warehousing concepts.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data engineering tasks.
• Experience designing data structures and data products.
• Understanding of Insurance domain workflows and data requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data governance and model optimization.
