Description

Design and lead technical strategy for data modernization programs using Databricks-based architectures in Azure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement medallion architecture, defining the structure and benefits of each layer.
• Develop technical frameworks for data quality, governance, protection, and virtualization as a service.
• Build technical architecture for the consumption layer and guide application teams on data modeling.
• Resolve technical issues within the Azure environment, including resource groups, performance groups, and tenants.
• Act as a technical advisor for data engineering teams, providing guidance on performance tuning and data auditing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data architecture and design.
• Expertise in Data Lake design and Data Architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Python and PySpark.
• Proficiency with Azure Data Factory.
• Ability to configure DeltaTable in Databricks.
• Experience articulating the advantages of Databricks architectures to business stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in any graduate field.
