Description

You will design and govern scalable data architectures across ingestion, storage, processing, and analytics on Azure.

Collaborate with Solution and Enterprise Architects to translate business requirements into technical designs. Define end-to-end data architecture strategies and provide architectural oversight for ETL/ELT solutions using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Informatica, and SSIS. Guide ETL automation, monitoring, and DevOps/DataOps best practices. Govern analytics and reporting architecture using Power BI, SSRS, and enterprise data models. Ensure data security, governance, and PHI compliance. Partner with Analytics, Data Science, and ML teams to enable downstream use cases. Participate in Agile delivery and provide architecture input during planning and design phases.

Required Skills

• 12+ years in data engineering or data platform roles with architecture responsibility.
• Strong experience with Azure data technologies including ADF, ADLS, Synapse, and Azure SQL.
• Deep understanding of ETL/ELT, data modeling, and data warehousing principles.
• Proficiency in SQL and architectural familiarity with Python.
• Experience with Power BI and exposure to SSIS and SSRS.
• Healthcare (Payer/Provider) domain experience.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to AI/ML enablement, including data preparation and ML-ready architectures.
• Snowflake or lakehouse architecture experience.
