Description

You will design, architect, and maintain cloud-based data management and analytics solutions on the Azure platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design complex application solutions on the Azure Data Platform to meet business requirements.
• Lead technology proof of concepts to validate the feasibility of proposed architecture solutions.
• Define target state technology architectures and roadmaps to ensure alignment with IT initiatives.
• Provide architectural direction and technical patterns to engineering teams.
• Drive continuous technology transformation and modernization to minimize technical debt.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience with SQL, schema design, and dimensional data modelling.
• 5+ years of experience in modern data engineering, data warehousing, or data lake technologies on cloud platforms.
• Expertise in Azure cloud services, including Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, and ADLS.
• Strong experience with big data tools including Databricks and Spark.
• Proficiency in programming with PySpark and Spark SQL.
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools such as ADF and MS Fabric.
• Deep knowledge of ETL patterns for data ingestion, processing, and distribution.

Preferred Skills

• Direct experience with the Microsoft Fabric Data Platform.
