Description

You will design and maintain cloud data solutions and analytics platforms on Azure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy complex application solutions on the Azure Data Platform to meet business requirements.
• Lead technology proof of concepts to validate architectural feasibility.
• Provide technical direction and architectural patterns for engineering teams.
• Define target state technology architectures and long-term roadmaps.
• Drive technology modernization and continuous improvement to minimize technical debt.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience with SQL, schema design, and dimensional data modeling.
• 5+ years of experience in modern data engineering, data warehousing, or data lake technologies on Azure or Microsoft Fabric.
• Expertise in Azure data services including Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, and ADLS.
• Proficiency with ETL/ELT tools such as Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Microsoft Fabric.
• Strong programming skills in PySpark and Spark SQL.
• Experience with big data tools including Databricks, Spark, and Microsoft Fabric.
• Deep knowledge of ETL patterns for data ingestion, processing, and distribution.
