Description

You will design and implement end-to-end data solutions on the Azure Data Platform.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data pipelines and ETL processes using ADF and Databricks to move data from various sources to data lakes and warehouses.
• Architect Data Lake storage layers, including landing, staging, raw, and curated zones.
• Build and optimize data models, DB schemas, and processing logic within Azure Synapse DW and Spark Pools.
• Define data access policies and security protocols for Azure data services.
• Integrate AI/ML models with data and reporting solutions and build API layers for downstream consumption.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience in data architecture or engineering.
• Proven track record of delivering 5+ projects involving data pipelines, warehousing, and modeling on Azure.
• Expertise in data processing and transformation using Databricks with Scala or Python.
• Advanced SQL programming skills and experience with SQL Server.
• Experience with Azure Synapse, Data Lake, and Databricks.
• Hands-on experience with data modeling for structured and semi-structured data.
• Experience migrating workloads from Oracle EDW to cloud data warehouses.
• Expertise in Power BI, including DAX, Import models, Direct Query, and Paginated reports.
• Ability to migrate reports from Tableau to Power BI.
