Description

You will lead the planning and execution of migrating on-premises applications and infrastructure to the Azure cloud platform.

Responsibilities

• Analyze on-premises environments to assess workloads, dependencies, and compatibility with Azure services.
• Design migration plans that minimize downtime, maintain data integrity, and estimate costs.
• Execute migrations by configuring Azure services, migrating data, and testing applications.
• Implement security controls and perform vulnerability assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Manage post-migration activities including troubleshooting, performance optimization, and end-user training.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Azure migration engineering or a related field.
• Strong expertise with Azure Migrate, Azure Site Recovery, and Azure Database Migration Service.
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code using Terraform, ARM, or Bicep.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools including PowerShell.
• Demonstrated experience implementing and managing Azure policies.
• Proven ability to create and troubleshoot Azure pipelines.
• Experience migrating on-premises applications and infrastructure to Azure.
• Strong understanding of security and compliance best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• DevOps experience with Jenkins, TeamCity, Git, or Bitbucket.
• Microsoft Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect or Azure Administrator.
