Description

Design and develop enterprise data architecture to transform core data assets across SQL, NoSQL, and cloud-based platforms.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and design enterprise data architecture deliverables to treat data as a strategic asset.
• Develop migration plans to transition from current states to future-state data architectures.
• Draft architectural diagrams, interface specifications, and technical design documents.
• Promote data asset reuse by managing the data catalog for enterprise reference.
• Identify technology environment deficiencies and recommend architectural improvements.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of Python experience.
• Strong SQL skills, including complex join conditions and conditional updates.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform.
• Proficiency in Linux, GitHub, and Bash.
• Experience managing CI/CD lifecycles and writing unit, integration, and regression tests.
• Experience using static code analysis tools, linters, and PEP 8 standards.
• Experience working within Agile SCRUM project frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Data Management: Databricks, PySpark, Spark Structured Streaming, Delta Live Tables, Delta Sharing.
• Streaming: Apache Kafka, Azure EventHubs, Avro.
• DevOps: GitHub Actions, Terraform, Artifactory.
