Description

You will design and develop enterprise data architecture to transform core data assets across SQL, NoSQL, and cloud-based platforms.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and design enterprise data deliverables, treating data as a strategic asset.
• Develop high-level migration plans to bridge gaps between current and future state architectures.
• Draft architectural diagrams, interface specifications, and technical design documents.
• Promote data asset reuse through active management of the data catalog.
• Contribute to cost/benefit analyses to assist leadership with architectural decision-making.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of Python experience.
• Strong SQL skills, including complex join conditions and conditional updates.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform.
• DevOps proficiency with Linux, GitHub, and Bash.
• Experience managing CI/CD lifecycles.
• Experience writing unit, integration, and regression tests.
• Experience using static code analysis tools, linters, and PEP 8 standards.
• Experience working within Agile SCRUM projects.

Preferred Skills

• Data Management: Databricks, PySpark, Spark Structured Streaming, Delta Live Tables, Delta Sharing, and expert SQL.
• Streaming Technologies: Apache Kafka, Azure EventHubs, and Avro.
• DevOps: GitHub Actions, Terraform, and Artifactory.
