Description

You will design, manage, and optimize data workflows within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain data workflows using Microsoft Azure Cloud services.
• Perform complex query tuning, schema refinement, and database object rightsizing for cost management.
• Analyze, solve, and correct technical issues end-to-end in real time.
• Refine automation for regular processes, track issues, and document all changes.
• Participate in the engineering on-call rotation and incorporate security into daily technical decisions.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience working with Cosmos DB.
• Proficiency in T-SQL and scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud workflows.
• Competency in DevOps, Data Factory, Azure SQL, and Synapse Analytics.
• Experience with configuration management and automation tools including Git, Jenkins, and Bitbucket.
• Knowledge of Microsoft cloud managed databases such as Managed SQL Instance and Databricks Delta Lake.
• Experience with Big Data solutions like Delta Lake and SQL DBMSs.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Management Information Systems.
• Experience with Azure Event Hub, API development, and JDBC connections.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and large-scale projects.
