Description

You will design and implement scalable data solutions on Azure, owning the full lifecycle from ingestion to warehousing.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate highly available, distributed data pipelines for large-scale data ingestion, processing, and extraction.
• Integrate multi-cloud services with existing on-premises technologies to ensure seamless hybrid connectivity.
• Model data structures according to established data modelling processes and optimize SQL queries for performance.
• Solve complex data problems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver analytics tools.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of overall Data Engineer experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on data engineering experience covering data lake infrastructure and data warehousing.
• Expert proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark.
• Deep understanding of Azure services, specifically Data Factory and Databricks.
• Proven ability to optimize SQL queries and performance tune data pipelines.
• Experience building data analytics tools and working with Azure cloud data engineering.

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating multi-cloud services with on-premises environments.
• Background in data modelling processes for large-scale systems.
