Description

You will design and implement data solutions within the Azure Synapse ecosystem.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Synapse tables to support data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
• Build scalable data pipelines using Spark Scala and SQL.
• Optimize data storage to ensure high performance and scalability within the Synapse environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data requirements into technical solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Proven experience working with Synapse Analytics.
• Proficiency in Spark Scala and SQL for data processing and transformation.
• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and database design principles.
• Experience with Apache Spark, Hadoop, and Databricks.
• Knowledge of Data Warehousing and Unix environments.
• Ability to tune and optimize Synapse tables for performance.

• Any Graduate degree.
