Description

You will design, develop, and manage data pipelines and warehouse structures within the Azure ecosystem.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Map and rationalize data between transactional and dimensional database models.
• Develop stored procedures and ETL processes in collaboration with database and system administrators.
• Design and manage Synapse pipelines alongside vendors and agency staff.
• Model database structures based on specific business use cases.
• Create and schedule elastic jobs to support data workflows.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering roles.
• Extensive experience developing stored procedures and ETL processes using T-SQL.
• Thorough understanding of data warehouse design hierarchies, including star and snowflake schemas.
• Proficiency with ALM tools for work item management, version control, code analysis, and testing.
• Broad knowledge of the software development life cycle and associated technologies.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and CI/CD workflows.
• Strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with Synapse pipelines.
