You will lead data engineering initiatives, designing storage solutions and building scalable pipelines to ensure operational data accuracy and accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data storage solutions using Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Data Lake Storage.
• Build and maintain scalable ETL processes and data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks.
• Establish data governance policies, security measures, and encryption strategies to ensure compliance.
• Develop optimized database structures and complex SQL queries to support performance and scalability.
• Automate data processing and workflows using Python, PowerShell, and VBA scripts.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering and storage solution design.
• Hands-on experience with Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Data Lake Storage.
• Proficiency in building ETL processes using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks.
• Expertise in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries for relational databases.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and PowerShell for workflow automation.
• Experience managing cloud-based storage on both Azure and AWS.
• Ability to use Power Query and Power Pivot for large-scale data organization.
• Solid understanding of data architecture and integration best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Cloud platform certifications in Azure or AWS.
• Experience with advanced data visualization tools.
