Description

You will lead, mentor, and manage a team of 25–35 data engineers across multiple pods, driving performance, competency development, and succession planning.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Guide teams on optimization, partitioning strategies, performance tuning, and advanced PySpark/SQL coding standards.
• Drive the integration of large ERP ecosystems (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics) with the Azure cloud platform.
• Manage team performance, engagement, and technical growth across multiple projects.
• Oversee the implementation of Azure Databricks, ADF, and ADLS.
• Establish and enforce coding standards and best practices for data engineering.

Required Skills

• 11+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Expertise in Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS).
• Advanced proficiency in PySpark and SQL.
• Experience integrating SAP, Oracle, or MS Dynamics with Azure.
• Proven track record managing large teams (25–35 engineers).
• Strong background in data optimization and performance tuning.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with succession planning and technical competency development.
