Description

You will design and manage scalable data solutions on Azure, focusing on ETL pipelines, data storage, and performance optimization.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ETL processes using Azure Data Factory to integrate data from diverse sources into data warehouses and lakes.
• Build and optimize big data processing workflows using Azure Databricks and Apache Spark for large-scale analysis.
• Manage and secure Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Blob Storage to ensure high availability and data integrity.
• Implement database security measures and automate manual processes to improve data delivery efficiency.
• Perform performance tuning, backup, and recovery operations to maintain system reliability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or database administration.
• Proficiency with Azure Data Factory for ETL and data integration.
• Strong experience with Azure Databricks and Apache Spark for big data processing.
• Hands-on knowledge of Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Blob Storage.
• Ability to design and implement database security and management protocols.
• Experience in identifying and executing process improvements through automation.
• Any Graduate degree.
