Description

Lead the design, development, and operational support of GMAC’s data warehouse, ETL pipelines, and decision support technologies.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data solutions using Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, and Function Apps.
• Develop and maintain efficient ETL processes using SSIS for data warehouse integration.
• Manage SQL Server database applications, including complex query optimization and administration.
• Define data policies for integrity, privacy, retention, and security in compliance with business needs.
• Collaborate with data architects and stakeholders to prioritize the project pipeline and deliver high-quality data models.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related quantitative field.
• Proficiency in Azure Data Warehouse implementation and Azure Integration Services (ADF, Logic Apps, Function Apps).
• Advanced SQL programming and database management skills with SQL Server.
• Hands-on experience with SSIS for ETL and data warehouse development.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, data analytics, or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of software design concepts and debugging methods.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microsoft Power BI and other decision support/visualization tools.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Access for data analysis and reporting.
