Description

You will design and implement data integration solutions within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Build and migrate complex ETL pipelines from on-premises systems to cloud databases like Azure SQL Data Warehouse and Spark.
  • Design and develop workflows and pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
  • Develop ETL components for Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, and SQL Data Warehouse.
  • Map data sources to destinations and provide technical ETL support.
  • Implement data modeling for Azure SQL Database and SQL Data Warehouse.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Azure SQL Database.
  • Strong development and design skills in SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Experience with RDBMS environments including MS SQL Server and Oracle 11g/18c/19c.
  • Proficiency with Spark and big data architectural concepts.
  • Deep understanding of OLTP, OLAP, and data warehousing design.
  • Experience with data sourcing, ingestion, curation, and storage mechanisms.
  • Knowledge of real-time and near-real-time data warehousing.
  • Experience with NoSQL database modeling and usage in enterprise contexts.
  • Ability to build Azure data catalogue components.
