Description

You will own the design and implementation of scalable, secure data solutions using Azure Databricks.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, create, and maintain functional and technical specification documentation.
• Implement complex data pipelines for lakehouse data warehouses.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and architect solutions.
• Provide technical guidance throughout the data warehousing lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience with Azure Databricks.
• Proven development experience building data pipelines using ADF, dbt, and Python/PySpark.
• Strong understanding of Data Lake concepts (raw, enriched, curated layers) and ETL within Azure.
• Expertise in end-to-end data warehousing and BI analytics design.
• Proficiency with Azure Cloud Services, MS SQL Server, and ADWDB.
• Experience working within Agile methodology and DevOps practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure Event Hub.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps.
