Description

Architect and deliver enterprise-grade data solutions on Azure, focusing on Healthcare Payer and Medicaid environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-native Lakehouse architectures using ADLS Gen2, Databricks, Synapse, and ADF.
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, PySpark, and advanced SQL, including performance tuning.
• Define data models (conceptual, logical, physical) and manage SCDs, historized data, and schema evolution.
• Architect CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, integrating agentic IDEs and AI-assisted SDLC workflows.
• Enforce data governance, security controls, and compliance standards for PHI/HIPAA in Dev/Test/Prod.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of data engineering experience with strong hands-on delivery roles.
• Deep expertise in Azure Data Platform: ADLS Gen2, Azure Databricks, ADF, Synapse Analytics.
• Proficiency in SQL (advanced querying, tuning), Python, and PySpark.
• Experience with Azure SQL, SQL Server, and Azure Key Vault.
• Strong background in dimensional modeling (star/snowflake schemas) and batch/streaming processing.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Boards) and CI/CD implementation.
• Familiarity with healthcare data domains (Claims, Member, Provider, Eligibility) and HIPAA compliance.
• Ability to define architectural intent for agentic AI tools and govern autonomous code execution.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CDC (Change Data Capture) and incremental processing patterns.
• BE/ME/BTech/MTech in Engineering; certifications in Azure or related technologies.
