Description

You will design, build, and maintain data pipelines and models using Microsoft Azure services, Databricks, and PySpark, while mentoring junior developers and leading code reviews.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data pipelines using DBT and Databricks for data processing and transformation.
• Write complex SQL queries with a focus on performance tuning to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers through design discussions and code reviews.
• Apply data engineering and modeling techniques across relational, data warehouse, and semi-structured data formats.
• Implement network and firewall concepts to secure data infrastructure.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in data engineering, application development, and data modeling.
• 4+ years of programming experience with Databricks.
• 4+ years of experience with PySpark.
• Strong SQL expertise with proven performance tuning capabilities.
• 4+ years of experience using Microsoft Azure suite products (ADF, Synapse, ADLS).
• Solid knowledge of network and firewall concepts.

Preferred Skills

• Experience mentoring junior level developers.
• Background in leading technical design discussions.
