Description

You will lead data migration and engineering efforts transitioning workloads from AWS to Azure.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data migration strategies from AWS to Azure.
• Develop and optimize ETL workflows and data pipelines using ADF, Databricks, and Azure Synapse.
• Manage Azure Data Lake storage for structured and unstructured data.
• Transition workloads from AWS Hadoop environments to Azure.
• Maintain Python-based ETL scripts and monitor data workflow performance and security.

Required Skills

• 7 to 9 years of experience in data engineering.
• Expertise in Azure Data Lake, Databricks, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Hadoop and AWS to Azure migrations.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with ETL development, data modeling, and warehousing.
• Knowledge of cloud security, RBAC, and compliance requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform or Bicep.
• Familiarity with Power BI, AI-driven analytics, and advanced data governance.
• Previous experience with large-scale enterprise data migration projects.
