Description

Design and implement enterprise-scale data platforms on Microsoft Azure, owning the architecture for scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect Azure data platforms using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, ADLS Gen2, Azure SQL, and Cosmos DB.
• Define data ingestion, transformation, and serving patterns for batch and near real-time workloads.
• Configure Azure networking (VNets, Subnets, NSGs, Private Endpoints) to ensure secure deployments and implement HA/DR strategies.
• Develop and manage Terraform modules for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation integrated with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor and optimize performance and cost of Azure infrastructure and data services while ensuring governance and compliance.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience as an Azure Data Platform Architect.
• Deep expertise in Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and ADLS Gen2.
• Proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code on Azure.
• Strong knowledge of Azure infrastructure architecture, including networking, security, and HADR.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data governance.
• Experience designing batch and near real-time data processing architectures.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cosmos DB and Event Hubs.
• Familiarity with hybrid cloud architecture and cost optimization (FinOps).
