Description

Lead data-driven initiatives and turnkey IT projects within the P&C Insurance domain. Manage a team of 5-7 members while reporting directly to the CTO.

Responsibilities

• Spearhead the design and deployment of Azure cloud solutions for commercial insurance projects.
• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and new data source integrations to handle increasing volume and complexity.
• Architect technical specification designs, application interfaces, and data models.
• Build batch processing and integration solutions for both structured and unstructured data.

Required Skills

• 15 years of hands-on experience as a Data or Data Warehouse Engineer in on-prem and cloud environments.
• 3+ years of experience as a Cloud Data Solution Architect designing Azure solutions for the P&C Insurance domain.
• 3 years of hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and Data Lake.
• Expertise in Azure Data Factory, PySpark, and SQL.
• Strong background in Data Warehouse, Databricks, and Data Lake processing.
• Proven skills in Data Modeling and Schema Design.
• Experience processing both structured and non-structured data.

Preferred Skills

• Specific experience in Commercial Insurance.
