Description

You will design, build, and maintain the enterprise data warehouse on Azure to support statewide reporting.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Lead the migration and modernization of the enterprise data warehouse to Azure Cloud using Databricks, Delta Lake, and Synapse.
• Develop and manage ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL Server, SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Apache Spark, and Python.
• Serve as the technical lead for data modeling, formatting, cleansing, and integration with enterprise health applications.
• Gather business and technical requirements to implement efficient data warehousing designs.
• Produce technical documentation, including diagrams and specifications, ensuring compliance with federal and commonwealth standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data warehouse development and ELT/ETL within Azure environments.
• Hands-on expertise with Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, Azure Data Factory, and Synapse.
• Strong SQL Server skills, including T-SQL and SSIS.
• Experience with relational and dimensional databases, specifically star schema methodologies.
• Proven data engineering skills in data cleansing, extraction, transformation, modeling, and reporting.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps CI/CD Release Manager and monorepo environments.
• Experience with data mining, analytics, and API development.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with enterprise health applications integration.
