Description

You will design and implement an Azure database solution to replace legacy infrastructure, managing the full migration lifecycle and establishing long-term management processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a new Azure database architecture to replace existing legacy systems.
• Execute data migration from legacy environments to the new Azure infrastructure.
• Develop and establish database management processes for the new system.
• Conduct performance testing to ensure optimization, scalability, and security.
• Provide technical knowledge transfer to the engineering team.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in database design, integration, and support.
• 5+ years of experience implementing and managing MS Azure solutions.
• Proven track record of designing MS Azure database architectures.
• Extensive experience with large-scale data migration projects.
• Hands-on experience integrating legacy systems with modern cloud platforms.
• Deep expertise in database design specifically for system replacement projects.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team.

Preferred Skills

• Certification in Azure database management or related fields.
