Description

Manage and optimize Databricks infrastructure across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Manage Databricks infrastructure, resolving environment performance, connectivity, and security issues.
• Configure Admin Groups and manage user privileges using Admin Console, Groups API 2.0, SCIM API 2.0, or SCIM-enabled identity providers.
• Debug technical issues across a complex stack involving virtualization, containers, and micro-services.
• Collaborate with automation teams to maintain scripts and tools for monitoring and operational support.
• Act as a technical liaison between operational and development teams to validate solution supportability.

Required Skills

• 11+ years of experience in cloud computing and design.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure and AWS.
• Hands-on Databricks Administration.
• Proven experience with Networking, Storage, and Compute technologies.
• Strong implementation and support of RESTful APIs for troubleshooting and integration.
• Experience implementing micro-service and server-less design patterns.
• Experience working in hybrid (cloud and on-prem) environments.
• Background in software development and system engineering using open-source technology.
