Lead data engineering initiatives by designing scalable Azure Databricks solutions and mentoring technical teams.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data processing solutions using Azure Databricks, Spark, and data lakes.
• Lead and mentor a team of technical professionals, conducting code reviews and ensuring best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Oversee the full development lifecycle, from planning and design to deployment and maintenance.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with project delivery and team performance.

Required Skills

• Proven expertise in Azure Databricks, Spark, and data pipeline architecture.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, or SQL.
• Experience with Azure Data Lake Storage and Azure SQL Database.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
• 15+ years of experience in data engineering or software development.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven track record of leading technical teams and managing multiple projects.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps for CI/CD processes.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries.
• Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards.
