Description

You will design and architect Databricks solutions across Azure, AWS, and GCP, focusing on ETL/ELT and Lakehouse architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design data architectural solutions and roadmaps for project execution teams.
• Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of data projects, from requirement elicitation to design, development, and release.
• Architect, design, and optimize Big Data pipelines and Lakehouse environments.
• Troubleshoot deployments across environments and manage technical dependencies with offshore teams and clients.
• Mentor multiple teams, providing architectural guidance and driving common technical practices.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience in Data Management and Enterprise Data Warehousing (EDW).
• 3-5 years of experience with Databricks, Lakehouse Architecture, and Spark/Scala.
• Proven track record of at least 3 full-lifecycle Databricks implementations (discovery through optimization).
• 5+ years of experience architecting ETL/ELT solutions using commercial tools.
• Hands-on experience implementing and designing solutions leveraging Unity Catalog.
• Expertise in Databricks platform administration, cluster sizing, optimization, and CI/CD lifecycles.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong ability to communicate technical requirements to non-technical stakeholders and business owners.
