You will architect and design large-scale data systems using Microsoft Fabric and Azure.
Responsibilities
Design future-state data solutions on Azure and Microsoft Fabric following the Well-Architected Framework.
Implement ETL processes, data governance, scalability, and security protocols.
Plan and execute migrations of data solutions from on-premises, legacy systems, or other cloud platforms to Microsoft Cloud.
Optimize existing data pipelines, queries, and models to enhance performance and business value.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure successful deployment and operational stability of data services.
Required Skills
5+ years of experience in data engineering, management, or governance.
Proficiency in at least four languages: TypeScript, Python, Spark, C#, Java, Scala, R, DAX, MDX, or M.
Hands-on experience with SQL, Azure/Fabric Data Factory, PySpark, and Power BI.
Competency in at least four technologies: Airbyte, Airflow, dbt, Great Expectations, Event Driven Microservices, Azure Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, or Microsoft Purview.
Proven track record in Data Modernization and Digital Transformation engagements.
Expertise in Logical and Physical Data Modeling.
Experience implementing complex data transformations and data quality frameworks.
Experience with Git-based version control and GitHub Actions for Microsoft Fabric deployments.
Ability to assess existing on-premises or cloud data solutions to drive improvement initiatives.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Data Science and/or Machine Learning.
