Description

You will build and maintain data pipelines within the Azure ecosystem, focusing on ingestion frameworks and geospatial data processing.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement performant data ingestion pipelines using Apache Spark and Azure Databricks.
• Develop scalable frameworks specifically for ingesting geospatial datasets.
• Deliver proofs of concept to project stakeholders to validate technical approaches.
• Maintain and optimize existing data pipelines within the Azure environment.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional experience in data development.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark.
• Experience with Azure Databricks.
• Proven track record working within Azure environments.
• Degree in any field of study.

Preferred Skills

• 10+ years of relevant experience.
