Description

You will design, develop, and optimize data pipelines using Databricks, Python, and SQL.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks, Python, and SQL.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code in SQL and Python for data transformation and automation.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define data requirements and deliver solutions.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across data platforms.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows and performance issues.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Automation.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Snowflake, and Azure Cloud Services.
• Experience with Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Functions.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT best practices.
• Experience with version control and CI/CD practices.
• Ability to work independently and strong problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure Functions for data processing automation.
• Background in data governance and quality frameworks.
