Description

You will manage and optimize database services across the Azure ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MariaDB.
• Optimize database structures, allocate disk space, and manage capacity.
• Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies for data availability.
• Monitor performance to resolve bottlenecks, optimize queries, and tune parameters.
• Execute database upgrades and migrations while minimizing downtime.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience with MySQL.
• Proficiency in Azure SQL Database.
• Proficiency in Azure Cosmos DB.
• Experience managing Azure Database for PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MariaDB.
• Enforce security through access controls and security policies.
• Collaborate with developers and operations teams.

Preferred Skills

• Any Graduate degree.
