Description

Manage and engineer mid-tier infrastructure, including application and web servers, within Windows environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect, install, and configure application servers, portals, and associated software products.
• Automate administration tasks and develop system monitoring dashboards.
• Execute patching, troubleshooting, and configuration tasks within ServiceNow.
• Perform periodic reviews of Army Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) to ensure compliance.
• Own the availability, performance, and security of these systems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IT environments.
• Hands-on experience with IIS, Winforms, and Azure DevOps administration.
• Proficiency in Windows Server OS administration.
• Experience with PowerShell and automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Knowledge of application network architectures to troubleshoot firewall and port issues.
• Understanding of PKI and web services including SOAP and REST.
• Working knowledge of XML.
• Active DOD Secret security clearance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with DTD, XSLT, Xerces, and Xalan.
• Knowledge of Cyber Command STIGs processes and procedures.
