Description

You will administer and optimize Azure DevOps Services and GitHub Enterprise, ensuring secure CI/CD pipelines and strict compliance with federal security requirements.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer Azure DevOps Services (Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts) and GitHub Enterprise Cloud/Server, managing permissions, SSO, and RBAC.
• Design, build, and maintain secure YAML-based CI/CD pipelines using Azure Pipelines and GitHub Actions, integrating with AKS, App Services, and Key Vault.
• Implement governance policies, branch strategies, and audit logs aligned with federal identity and security best practices.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to support ATO processes, vulnerability remediation, and continuous monitoring.
• Mentor junior engineers, document operational procedures, and provide technical guidance on DevOps standards and Git workflows.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering or administration.
• Deep expertise in Azure DevOps Services administration and optimization.
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline engineering using Azure Pipelines and GitHub Actions.
• Strong knowledge of GitHub Enterprise, including organizations, repositories, and SSO integrations.
• Experience with YAML pipeline configuration and reusable template creation.
• Familiarity with Azure services such as AKS, Functions, SQL, and Storage.
• Understanding of federal security compliance, auditing, and vulnerability remediation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with GitHub Copilot and AI platform knowledge.
• Background in supporting migration efforts between Azure DevOps and GitHub.
