Description

Engineer cloud solutions and harden services to support development teams through automated release pipelines and cloud-native practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-first, cloud-native engineering practices and automated DevOps release management pipelines.
• Develop and own automated build processes, environment setups, testing scripts, and deployment workflows.
• Partner with development and operations teams to build practical automation solutions and custom modules.
• Provide technical leadership to guide cloud projects through completion while ensuring security and compliance controls.
• Establish KPIs to measure performance against business outcomes and drive continuous improvement in ALM processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer.
• Hands-on experience with Azure IaaS and PaaS deployment efforts.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, and PowerShell scripting.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and Ansible.
• Working knowledge of Azure DevOps or similar software tracking and deployment tools.
• Solid understanding of cloud networking concepts and hybrid multi-cloud environments.
• Experience with Linux systems administration and Bash.
• Experience working within Agile and Hybrid development methodologies.
• Strong documentation skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Agile or other project management certifications.
• Beginner to intermediate level Cloud or systems administration certifications.
