Description

You will act as a subject-matter expert in Release Management, CI/CD, and automation, owning the end-to-end delivery of software releases.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver scripts and automation tools to build, integrate, and deploy software releases.
• Produce deployment run books, implementation plans, and CI/CD documentation.
• Work with release engineers to manage branch impacts and code merges.
• Build and manage codebases using GitHub while optimizing for performance and security.
• Provide tool awareness and services to help teams manage production releases.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in development and supporting enterprise applications.
• Deep knowledge of Azure DevOps (VSTS) and Azure offerings including Web apps, ASE, ASP, function apps, SQL PaaS, and Storage accounts.
• In-depth expertise with the Microsoft platform: IIS, .NET, Web Services, SQL Server, SharePoint, Windows Server, Clustering, and Active Directory.
• Strong understanding of Software Configuration Management and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in IIS, SQL PaaS, and Linux.
• Ability to write error-free code and manage codebases via GitHub.
• Strong technical documentation skills for communicating with IT professionals.
• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to communicate customer issues.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Windows Server Clustering and Active Directory management.
