Description

Key Responsibilities:

· Design and implement Azure platform components (landing zones, networking, governance, security, identity)

· Build and optimize Azure DevOps pipelines and Infrastructure as Code using Bicep/Terraform

· Bridge platform and application teams across Azure Functions, APIs, cloud-native services, and PaaS integrations

· Handle complex Azure implementations and troubleshooting

· Debug end-to-end issues across network, identity, platform, and application layers

· Improve DevOps practices (PR reviews, pipeline quality gates, automation, testing, maintainability)

· Build reusable IaC modules and platform templates; enable self-service capabilities for development teams

· Provide technical mentoring and knowledge transfer to team

· Ensure process discipline (change management, IaC-first approach, governance, security)

· Act as a technical anchor and accelerate delivery for critical initiatives

Must-Have Skills:

· 5–7+ years of experience in Web / Cloud Application Development

· 3–5+ years of experience in Azure Cloud Engineering and DevOps

· Proven experience working across both application and platform layers

Core Azure & DevOps Capability

Strong hands-on experience in Azure Fundamentals, including knowledge of:

· Azure resources and configuration

· FinOps / cost awareness

· Monitoring and alerting

· Networking

· Governance and policies

· Landing zones

· Security and identity

· Azure Resource Manager (ARM)

Strong hands-on experience in:

· Azure DevOps (pipelines, CI/CD, repos)

· Infrastructure as Code (Bicep or Terraform – modular design)

· Source code version management using Git

Engineering & Development Capability

· Strong development background with experience building, testing, maintaining, and supporting code throughout the lifecycle of the solution

· Experience using Azure SDKs in addition to PowerShell / Bash / Azure CLI

Strong expertise in:

· Azure networking (hub-spoke, Private Link, DNS, firewall/WAF patterns)

· Azure security (Entra ID, RBAC, managed identities, Zero Trust principles)

· DevOps practices (CI/CD, PR reviews, pipeline quality gates, code quality)

· Modular IaC design and maintainable automation patterns

Troubleshooting Capability

Hands-on troubleshooting experience in:

· Connectivity issues (SNAT, DNS, routing, TLS)

· Identity and authentication flows (OAuth, tokens)

· PaaS integration scenarios (Functions, App Services, APIs)

Enterprise Azure Capability

o Monitoring and observability (Azure Monitor, logging, alerts)

o Azure Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and well-architected principles

o Enterprise Azure environments (multi-team, governed setup)
