Description

Design, harden, and release cloud services while partnering with development teams to implement cloud-native engineering practices.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Engineer cloud solution designs and implement security and compliance controls.
• Establish automated DevOps release management pipelines, including build processes, environment setups, and testing scripts.
• Develop practical automation solutions and custom modules to support production operations.
• Provide technical leadership and oversight for cloud projects from initiation through delivery.
• Own KPIs to measure performance against business outcomes and drive continuous improvement of ALM processes.

Required Skills

• 5 to 10 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer.
• Hands-on experience with Azure IaaS and PaaS deployment efforts.
• Proficiency in scripting with Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Perl.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, Cloud-init, or Ansible.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts and hybrid multi-cloud environments.
• Experience with Linux systems administration and Bash scripting.
• Proven track record using Azure DevOps or similar tools for software tracking, development, and deployment.
• Experience working within Agile and Hybrid development frameworks.
• Ability to document and explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Agile or other project management certifications.
• Beginner to intermediate level Cloud or systems administration certifications.
