Description

You will own the automation of deployments for data platforms and cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain GitHub Actions-based CI/CD pipelines for Azure workloads.
• Automate deployments for Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines, Azure SQL schema changes, and Databricks jobs.
• Enable environment promotion (Dev → QA → UAT → Prod) with approval gates and rollback mechanisms.
• Deploy Python, Django, and React microservices to Azure Function Apps, Web Apps, Container Apps, and AKS.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services.
• Proven CI/CD automation experience using GitHub Actions.
• Expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF) deployment automation using ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
• Experience automating deployments for Databricks notebooks, jobs, and workflows.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of Azure SQL Database deployment and schema version control.
• Experience deploying containerized applications using AKS or Azure Container Apps.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Django and React microservices architecture.
• Deep understanding of zero-touch production deployment strategies.
