Description

You will design and build end-to-end Disaster Recovery solutions in Azure.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement Azure Site Recovery (ASR) and Azure Backup for mission-critical systems.
• Design and deploy Disaster Recovery (DR) environments following Microsoft best practices and DRaaS models.
• Build and automate infrastructure using Terraform, ARM Templates, and IaC principles.
• Define and enforce RTO/RPO objectives, failover/failback procedures, and test plans.
• Integrate ASR and Azure Backup with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Automation Accounts for monitoring.

Required Skills

• 5+ years hands-on experience as an Azure Engineer or Cloud Architect.
• Proven success designing ASR and DRaaS solutions.
• Advanced proficiency in Terraform, IaC, and ARM templates.
• Strong working knowledge of Azure Backup, Azure Compute, Networking, and Storage.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and Pipelines.
• Proficiency in PowerShell or Bash scripting.
• Solid understanding of Azure governance, security best practices, and cost management.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to plan, test, and document complete DR failover/failback scenarios.
