Description

Responsibilities Manage Checkpoint and Palo Alto firewalls within an IaaS environment, including configuring and maintaining security policies and NAT rules. Oversee virtual machine scale sets to ensure scalable and secure infrastructure. Adhere to strict change management policies during firewall and network updates. Potentially collapse multiple firewalls into a single device to streamline security architecture. Perform migrations of Checkpoint Firewalls to Palo Alto firewalls in Azure, ensuring minimal downtime and security compliance. Leverage Strata Cloud Manager to administer a large fleet of firewalls effectively. Utilize Python and Ansible scripts to automate routine security and network management tasks.

Requirements Firewall engineer experience managing Checkpoint and Palo Alto firewalls in an IaaS environment. Expertise in managing security and NAT policies on Checkpoint and Palo Alto firewalls. Strong knowledge in managing virtual machine scale sets. Understanding of strict change management policies. Experience in integrating and migrating firewalls, particularly Checkpoint to Palo Alto in Azure. Experience with Strata Cloud Manager for large-scale firewall management. Proficiency in Python and Ansible automation tools
